With the recent Android update (Android 14, released in October 2023), notifications sent at specific times now require user permission. Without this permission, you will not receive important notifications, which may affect your experience with our app.
To ensure you continue receiving timely notifications about your food diary, meal plan, water intake, and appointments, follow the instructions to manually enable the necessary permissions.
Note: the terms used in the settings may vary depending on the device model.
Automatic Setup
When you install the Nutrium app for the first time, you will need to grant specific permissions for sending notifications.
Click Allow in the dialog box "Allow Nutrium to send you notifications?";
In the second dialog box "Can we send you important notifications?", click Continue;
Select Nutrium from the app list;
Enable the option Allow setting alarms and reminders.
Manual setup
If you did not grant permission for sending notifications at specific times during the app installation, you will need to do this manually through your device's Settings.
Through the Nutrium App
Click on the "..." in the bottom menu of the app;
Click on the Settings icon;
Enable the Notifications option;
Enable the Meal Notifications option;
In the dialog box "Can we send you important notifications?", click Continue;

Enable the option Allow setting alarms and reminders.
Through Device Settings
If you have enabled notifications in the Nutrium app but are still not receiving them, you should check if the app has the necessary permissions in your device's Settings.
Go to your device's Settings;
In the search bar, type Alarms and reminders;
Select Nutrium from the app list;
Enable the option Allow setting alarms and reminders.
