How can I use Nutrium’s AI Notes?

Find out where to find the Nutrium AI Notes, what they contain, and how to use them.

Where to find your video call notes

  • Open your client's profile and go to the AI Notes tab.

  • The Video call notes panel (labelled AI (beta)) lists your Nutrium video appointments with that client, most recent first.

How your notes are created

Your notes are created in one of two ways:

  • Automatically — about 10 minutes after a Nutrium video call ends, your notes appear in the Video call notes panel.

  • Manually — if you don't want to wait, leave the call and select Generate notes to create them straight away.

While your notes are being prepared, you'll see progress messages such as "Analyzing the last appointment's transcript…".

Note: Video call notes are only available for Nutrium video calls — not Google Meet, Zoom, or other external video call platforms.

What's in your notes

Expand an appointment entry to open its notes. Each set of notes includes:

  • Topic tags summarising the main themes of the call (e.g. Weight loss, Sports nutrition).

  • Clinical sections: Patient assessment, Diet, Anthropometric data, Goals, Meal plan and guidance, and Next steps.

  • Quick actions: one-click cards that save data into Nutrium.

Select Transcript to open a read-only, speaker-labelled transcript of the call. The transcript can't be edited — if something is inaccurate, edit the relevant note section directly.

Editing your notes

  • Every section is fully editable — click into any section to adjust the text.

  • Once you edit a section, an Edited pill appears next to it, so you can see at a glance what you've changed.

Using Quick actions

Quick actions turn what was discussed into data you can save with one click, routed to the right place:

  • Measurements — log values such as weight, height, waist, hip, or body fat. The date defaults to the appointment date.

  • Goals — create a goal for your client. If a goal has no target date, pick one from the date picker before saving.

Review or adjust a card, then select Create to save it. To save everything at once, select Create all and confirm the list. Nothing is saved to your client's Measurements or Goals until you confirm. To remove a card, delete it — you'll be asked "Are you sure?" (Yes / No).

Privacy and security

Your client's privacy is protected at every step. Nutrium video calls are not recorded and the audio is never stored — only a secure text transcript is kept, to generate your notes and support your clinical follow-up. Video call notes are visible only to you, never to your client. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and is handled in full compliance with HIPAA and GDPR, ensuring health information is protected to the strictest international security standards.

FAQs

Which video calls get notes?

Only Nutrium video calls. Calls made through Google Meet, Zoom, or other external platforms are not transcribed and won't generate notes.

Can I edit the notes?

Yes. Every section is editable at any time, and an Edited pill marks the sections you've changed.

Does my client see the notes or the transcript?

No. Your video call notes and the transcript are visible only to you.

Can I view the call transcript?

Yes. Select Transcript inside a set of notes to see a read-only, speaker-labelled transcript. It can't be edited.

What if the notes don't generate?

If something goes wrong, you'll see the message "Something went wrong while generating the video call notes." You can try generating them again.
